I've received more than a few requests for the lyrics to this song. Originally inspired by both the 2017 Presidential Inauguration and the ensuing Women's March which took place across the world the following day, the song begins initially as a message of despair but is ultimately one of hope, unity, love and commitment to stand for all that is beautiful and life-affirming, even in the face of shameless displays of hate, intolerance and darkness, which we see all around us today. It should also be noted that the term 'young' has little to do with biological age.
